Rachel is from a family of 6 and she was 5 years old when her mother died. She was with her father who was old and a drunk. He gave her to an aunt who did not take good care of her. She usually beat her up at night. She went back to her father but he died when she was 13. Pastor Francis found her begging in the village for food and took her to the children's home.
