Fatmata lost both parents when she was very young. She went to live with her aunt in another village who promised to send her to school but did not. One night she heard her aunt talking to a man saying she was going to sell Fatmata to him. After she heard this she escaped her house but was raped by a man who promised to help her. She was 14. She ended up with an aunt who loved her and brought her to church where she met Pastor Francis.
